Mom, this says it all--

 

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.It broke our hearts to lose you,you did not go alone,for part of us went with you,the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you ,you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

I miss Mother so much tonight.  New Year's Eve was always fun! The table spread with TONS of food.  Clam dip, onion dip, chips, ring bologna, mac & potato salad, pickles of all kinds, tripe, sodas and so-o-o-o much more.  Staying up with everyone to welcome in the new year was always great joy and fun! Happy New Year to All & May this year bring us renewed happiness and comfort.

Carol,that is too funny.  I can just picture that.  What a wonderful memory to have.  I am so glad we all have those beautiful and lovely memories.  There are so many to share and enjoy.  I have a beautiful one, the one on my wedding day.  I was so honored to have mom give me away.  Was truly a lovely moment.  Mom seem to make everything we did together extra special.  No matter what we were doing.  Work, play, church or just taking a walk.  I miss her so much, but I also feel very close to her.  Thanks Mom for giving me such beautiful sisters.  I could not go through life without them.  Love you all !!!!!

I have so many memories of mom but the most recent one and funniest one is around Mothers day . I called her to see what she wanted for Mothers day and of course her first answer was "I don't need anyhting,but your love" I told her she has that always . But she couldn't think of anything .Well the next time I talked with her she told me that her and  dad came up with bras -she needed new ones. So I went down to get her and we went shopping for bras -I took her to Boscovs and we went to the bra section -we picked out a couple of bras and went to the dressing room to try them on I helped her take off her top and bra and tried on the new ones. I helped get the other bras connected in the back and helped her with the straps. I asked her how do they fit? and she said Im not all in yet -and then just sat there,So I looked at her and said mom  you need to put the girls in because I'm not putting them in -Well she starting laughing so hard which made me laugh -she had such a good laugh.It was so nice to hear that laugh from her and to see that smile . Of course she got more then bras that day. I sure do miss our talks and her laugh .
